3. Fair enough :) no personal offense intended. I don't know if making a blogger laugh and feel the need to apologize is one of the steps advised by those articles, but maybe it should be. I'm totally going to go look closer at your site now.
You'll have to forgive the cyncism - the web is full of pitching emails, it's enough to make a person doubt who his friends are. Can your service help with that? We shall see...

4. One of the best resources on that list as far as publicizing your site is on TechCrunch.

5. Good call on that. I went back and edited my notes field on that entry indicating that it's especiallly good. Thanks for the heads up on that.

7. Hey no problem David, you know what they say - engaging in conversations on blogs is the best way to get people to visit your own site. David's quick and funny comment led me to click through to his site - which looks quite interesting!
Really, though, the social bookmarking space has so much potential. Taking steps like filling in and later editing when appropriate the notes field, tagging other peoples' tags of interest (and subscribing to them) help make so much more out of the medium. These aren't browser favorites we're dealing with anymore - so let's do more with them! For example, if you don't mind my saying so - I think my tagspace titled International (http://del.icio.us/marshallkirkpatrick/international ) is a great source of interesting information. I should subscribe myself to more of other peoples' bookmarks.
